Dueling Dogs is a family owned and operated Winery and Brewery dedicated to crafting farm-fresh, small-batch, ciders, and meads and beers. We have a passion for the unique flavors of our regional agriculture. We hand-pick our Mead and Cider ingredients from our orchards and partner with Placer Grown farms for high-quality, fresh fruit, honey and juices. With our Satsuma Mandarin Oranges and other local fruit, you will experience the flavors of Placer County in every sip.

Did you know not all wines are made from grapes? Meads and Ciders are wines too! Mead is made of fermented honey and Cider, fermented apples, and both can incorporate a number of other ingredients to give it complexity. It can be sweet or dry (usually semi-dry at our winery), still or with just a hint of carbonation. At Dueling Dogs we make both light, refreshing and easy to drink.
